Welcome to the home of Sacred Heart Youth Ministry Programs.

Our ministry aims to offer our high school teens and our young adults in college ways to be involved and active in their faith lives. From our monthly youth group prayer meeting to a variety of service and justice opportunities to an extensive faith formation experience and engaging, meaningful retreats, we have lots to offer.

We are a fun, faithful and welcoming community of friends and we hope you'll join us!

"Don't let anyone look down on you

              because you are young,
but set an example for the believers in
speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
                                                          - Timothy 4:12

Be sure to mark your calendars now for the following important retreat dates:

Grade 10 Retreat: Sat. Jan. 19th - Sun. Jan. 20th

We start at 8AM on Sat. and end at 8PM on Sun. You will not be able to come and go during retreat times, so please notify coaches, directors, and employers of your commitment to the retreat well ahead of time.

Grade 9 Retreat: Sun. March 24th

We begin at 12PM and end at 8PM.

As mentioned above you will be expected to attend the retreat from start to finish. Please plan accordingly.

The Youth Group Room

We celebrated our first youth group in "The Rock Room" on Thursday, February 21, 2013! Since then, it has become a "home away from home" for many of us. Check out our photo album to see pics of our space and our first YG in our new home!

Teens, you're invited to come and see it in person and join us for youth group on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30 - 7:30 PM.

Our YG also participates in a Night of Service at the Bristol Lodge in Waltham at 4:45 PM on the first Wed. of each month. We are typically finished by 5:30/5:45PM.

Katie's Care Fund

On March 15, 2012 our youth group adopted Kadiatu, a fun-loving, happy little girl who lives with her family in Sierra Leone. Katie, as she has been nicknamed by her family at Sacred Heart, is currently 3 years old and celebrates her birthday on October 24th. This is Katie's piggy bank, which is set up every week at youth group so that our teens can help us contribute to her well-being through World Vision. Additionally, we try to send fun little care packages throughout the year. If you're interested in being connected with a child or helping us with Katie, please contact us or check out the link for World Vision on our "links" page.
